Welcome

We organise biennial festivals and other events to encourage and support those who contribute musically to the worship of our churches.
The two regions organise occasional events, details of which will be published here, as well as rehearsals for the national festival.
Browse through our history and details of current national and regional events.

ANTHEM BOOKS

-  FOR SALE
We have spare copies of anthem books from previous Festivals which we are unable to sell at the Cathedral.  Peter Williams will be bringing them to rehearsals where they can be purchased at £ 2.50 per copy.  If you are unable to attend the rehearsals you may contact me and I will post them to you, when you will need to add £1 to the cost of each book.
The years we have are as follows:-

1976 – 4 copies, 1988 – 5 copies, 1996 – 3 copies, 1999 – 4 copies, 2009 – 7 copies, 2013 – 9 copies, 2015 – 22 copies and 2017 – 111 copies.

-  FOR THE ASKING ....!
The Free Church Choir committee has also received a substantial number of music books which were produced for Festivals between 1903 to 1979. There were no books during the war years as there were no Festivals.  Apart from the historical aspect, these books contain some lovely anthems and could be of interest to organists and choirs.  We are offering them free of charge to anyone who may be interested except for the cost of postage.  A donation to the F.C.C. funds would be much appreciated.
The collection is currently held by Andrew Winton and he can be contacted on 01494 473140, mobile 07759261590 or email andrew@adbiscon.com.
